An impressive enough sight to see these huge ships transit the canal with inches to spare on either side of the hull, the amount of cargo which transits the canal each day is equally impressive. Today, the United States Congress passed legislation to implement the three long pending free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama and South Korea. Finally, after five years of dithering, after countless hours of work the agreements are in place. Long overdue. Congratulations to all who had a hand in making these agreements happen!
